Service Terms, Safety Requirements, and Property Access
These terms apply to septic pumping and related field services performed by CDA Septic Pumping. Please review them before approving a quote or authorizing service.
Service Terms
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Service Terms apply to all services performed by CDA Septic Pumping, LLC (“Company”). They supplement any quote, invoice, work order, request form, or broader website terms.
I. Scope of Service
Septic pumping is a maintenance service only. The Company will pump and remove septic tank contents and may perform a limited visual inspection of accessible components.
The Company does not perform a full septic system inspection and does not guarantee the condition, performance, or remaining useful life of the septic system or related components, including the septic tank structure, inlet and outlet baffles, pipes, sewer lines, drainfield, distribution boxes, risers, lids, or covers.
II. System Condition Acknowledgment
Customer understands that septic systems are underground and their condition is often unknown before service. Pre-existing damage, deterioration, improper installation, or system failure may exist before the Company arrives.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, system failures, or damage caused by normal servicing of compromised, deteriorated, defective, or improperly installed components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.
III. Property Access and Tank Location
Customer is responsible for providing clear, safe access to the septic tank and for identifying or marking the tank location when known.
Customer understands that tank lids may be buried and may require probing or digging, and that normal service may disturb soil, landscaping, gravel, mulch, sod, or turf. Additional charges may apply for locating, digging, difficult access, long hose runs, or extended service time. The Company may decline or reschedule service if the tank or work area cannot be accessed safely.
IV. Site Safety Requirements
Customer agrees to keep the work area clear of hazards, obstructions, children, pets, and bystanders while service is being performed.
Customer understands that septic systems may contain hazardous gases and biological material, and that open tanks present serious safety risks. The Company reserves the right to delay, refuse, or stop service if site conditions are unsafe.
V. Pumping Process
Customer understands that proper septic tank cleaning may include breaking up and mixing scum and sludge layers, drawing down tank contents, and removing accumulated material from the tank.
A limited amount of residual material may remain after pumping depending on tank condition, access, and standard service practices.
VI. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at the time of service unless prior written arrangements are made.
Failure to provide payment may result in cancellation or refusal of service. Where legally permissible, the Company may cease or reverse service for non-payment. Customer agrees to pay collection costs, fees, and related expenses if payment is not made.
VII. Authorization
By approving a quote, submitting a request, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, customer confirms that they are the property owner or an authorized agent and that they have authority to approve the requested service.
Customer authorizes CDA Septic Pumping, LLC to perform the requested service and agrees to these terms.
VIII. Relationship to Other Terms
These Service Terms are specific to septic pumping and related field services. They supplement, but do not replace, any broader Terms of Service, quote terms, invoice terms, or other written agreements.
If a quote or written agreement includes additional job-specific terms, those terms apply along with this page.

Job Site Photo Authorization
By approving a quote or authorizing service, the customer authorizes CDA Septic Pumping to capture and use photographs or video of the work area, septic components, tank lids, risers, excavation areas, equipment, landscape, exterior property features, access conditions, and completed work for documentation, training, website content, social media, advertising, reviews, and other marketing purposes.
CDA Septic Pumping will make reasonable efforts not to intentionally publish personally identifiable information, including people, visible addresses, house numbers, mailboxes, license plates, mail, or other identifying details when reasonably avoidable. Photos are intended to showcase workmanship, site conditions, equipment, and project outcomes rather than identify a specific customer or property owner.
